Over 25 years of experience in the fields of strength and conditioning
Our mission is to deliver personalized rehabilitation and performance strategies that work, whether you're recovering from chronic pain or preparing for elite competition.
Founded by Marc-Andre Major, Maximize Athletic Movement reflects over 25 years of experience in the fields of strength and conditioning, osteopathy, and neuro-functional training. Marc’s vision is rooted in precision, long-term results, and a deep understanding of how the body and brain work together to produce optimal performance.
We’ve worked with high-level athletes across sports including hockey, baseball, triathlon, football, soccer, tennis and running. In addition to athletes, we also support children with ADHD, cognitive impairments, and individuals looking to improve cognitive function and overall wellness.
We believe
At Maximize Athletic Movement, we believe the brain is the foundation of all movement and performance. That’s why we use a brain-based approach to enhance your function, prevent injuries, and support your long-term health.
With advanced expertise in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise science, osteopathy, and posturology, we go beyond treating symptoms. We identify and address the root causes of your limitations—helping you perform at your best with confidence and control.

Driven by a desire to deliver cutting-edge care
Marc-Andre Major is a strength coach, osteopath, and posturologist with a lifelong passion for athletic development and human performance.
His journey began in 1995 with a dream to play professional baseball. After starting an Exercise Science program in the U.S., he continued his studies in Kinesiology at the University of Sherbrooke, and pursued advanced certifications from NSCA, the Chek Institute, Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), Posture Restoration Institute, and Twist University.
Marc went on to play professional baseball for 7 years, signing a contract with the Texas Rangers in 2008, and competing in 11 Canadian Championships and 3 World Championships.
Driven by a desire to deliver cutting-edge care, Marc attended l’Institut d’Enseignement de l’Ostéopathie du Québec, where he wrote a 228-page thesis on shoulder stability in throwing sports and graduated in 2015. He practiced for over five years in the suburbs of Montreal before relocating his practice.
Over the years, Marc has trained hundreds of athletes, helping them reach the NCAA and professional levels. His commitment to ongoing education and his meticulous attention to detail have elevated his practice to some of the highest standards in the industry.
